BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a non-refundable deposit of 50% (deducted from the booking fee) is required on booking, with the remaining 50% due 6 weeks before arrival.

​Lastminute bookings inside 6 weeks before arrival, full payment will be due.

An additional cleaning fee will be charged at £30.00.

We will also require a £200 refundable cautionary damage deposit at this time. Any deductions made from this will be after agreement and consultation with the individual who made the booking. This will be refunded no later than 7 days after your rental has expired.

All breakages and damages must be paid for.

This is to ask that the house is left in a reasonable way when leaving the property after your stay. 

Any cancellation made by the client for whatever reason must be confirmed by email.

In order for a full refund we require a 6 week cancellation period.

Bookings cancelled after this date will receive 50% of the total rental amount.

Bookings less than 6 weeks before the commencement of your stay, a non-refundable deposit of 50% (deducted from the booking fee) is required and the reminder with be invoiced upon confirmation of the booking. The remainder (50%) is required to be paid within 7 days of the invoiced date.

If you do not pay any payment due in relation to your booking by the appropriate date we are entitled to assume that you want to cancel your booking. In this case, your booking will be cancelled immediately and any monies received retained.

 

Services

The price for La Fontaine Court includes all charges for water and electricity. There is no gas.  

Your booking

(a)    Your contract with us to hire La Fontaine Court will begin when we send to you a booking confirmation email. Your contract with us will be on the terms set out in these terms and conditions.

(b)    The confirmation email will set out the dates of your booking, the total amount payable for your booking and the dates on which payments are due.

(c)    You, as the person making the booking, will be responsible for all members of your party. You, as the person in charge of your party, must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.

 

Visitor standards and behavior:

(a)    You will be provided with a welcome pack at La Fontaine Court that contains important information about your stay with us. Please ensure that you and your party read the welcome pack carefully on arrival. 

(b)    You must only use La Fontaine Court for the purposes of your stay. I.e. No parties.

(c)    You must keep La Fontaine Court and its contents clean and tidy and leave them in the same condition as when you arrived.

(d)    You must not use La Fontaine Court, or allow it to be used, for any dangerous, offensive, noisy, illegal or immoral activities. We would also ask you to be respectful to our neighbours and not to cause any nuisance or annoyance during your stay.

(e)    Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the building of La Fontaine Court.

(f)    You must keep noise levels within the law of the local area. 

  

Maximum occupancy

La Fontaine Court sleeps maximum of 3 people in each apartment.  Clients must notify the host/manager of La Fontaine Court of any additional guests prior to booking. This may not always be possible. 

 

Damage to La Fontaine Court or its contents

(a)    If you discover that anything is missing or damaged on arrival at La Fontaine Court you must notify us immediately. If you do not notify us we will assume that you caused the relevant damage or loss.

(b)    You will be responsible for the cost of any damage you or your party cause to the apartment or its contents. We will not charge for the odd broken plate or glass but please let us know so we can replace it.

 

If you have a problem or complaint

We take care to ensure that La Fontaine Court is of a high standard. However, if you have any problems please contact us immediately and give us the opportunity to resolve it.

 

Our rights of access

(a)    We or our contractors may need to access La Fontaine Court Apartments if there is an unforeseen problem or to perform certain routine checks. If this happens, we will do our best to let you know in advance of the date and time that we will need access.

(b)    If your stay with us lasts more than seven days, we or our contractors will need to access the apartments in order to clean and to change the linen.

(c)    If we do need to access the apartments for any reason we will always try to access the properties at a reasonably convenient time (other than in the event of an emergency).

Check in and departure

Your check-in and departure times will be set out in your confirmation email. Normally, check-in is available from 2pm on the first day of your stay and departure is required by 10am on the last day of your stay.

Identification

Photo identification is required: a copy of photo ID for each guest staying in the accommodation such as a copy of a Driving License or Passport must be provided before the check in day or on the day of check in to the host.

 

Emergency Contact Details

In the event of an emergency we require details on file of who to contact if anything were to happen whilst staying in our accommodation.

It is vital to have emergency contact details; this information must be provided before check in day or on the day of check in to the host.

 

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. You and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 

We recommend that our guests have relevant travel insurance in place.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you want to cancel your booking:

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must let us know in writing by email and followed up by a telephone call. Your booking will be cancelled with effect from the day we receive your notification.

If you want to change your booking

(a)    If you want to change your booking you must let us know in writing by email as soon as possible.

(b)    Whilst we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any request for changes. Please note that it is not possible for us to change bookings less than 7 days before the start date.

(c)    If you do change your booking, you must also pay us any additional rental costs due as a result of the change – we will confirm the amount of any additional rental costs due at the time we change your booking.

 

If we need to change or cancel your booking:

 

(a)    We do not expect to have to make changes to your booking, however, sometimes problems happen and bookings have to be changed or cancelled. We will only change or cancel your booking if necessary to perform or complete essential remedial or refurbishment works or for other reasons unforeseen at the time you made your booking which are beyond our reasonable control.

 

(b)    If we do need to cancel your booking, we refund you the total amount you have paid us for the booking and no further charges will be payable.  We will not, however, be responsible for any other losses you may suffer.

If we do need to change or cancel your booking, we will do our best to offer you a suitable alternative booking. If we are not able to offer you a suitable alternative, or if you do not accept the alternative we offer, we will refund you the total amount you have paid us for the booking.

 

We cannot be held responsible for the following and no refund will be due:

  • strike, lock-down or natural disaster, force major.

  • acts of terrorism, war, riot or civil commotion.

  • keeping to any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, including advice from the foreign office to avoid or leave a country.

  • accident or breakdown on route.

  • insolvency or bankruptcy, fire, flood, snow or storm.
